These animated banners wrapped around the Central Hub on the Knowledge 2026 expo show floor, marking out each zone by the product area it focused on — and together illustrating the wide range of industries ServiceNow’s products serve.
The original animation was a 65-second loop, with every banner’s timing synchronized so the surrounding screens read as one cohesive environment on the floor. The version shown here is an edited 30-second cut.
For the intro, I tested both 2D and 3D directions before we landed on 3D. Working from premade 3D icon models, I animated and composited them into the motion. With six screens each sending a different 3D icon flying through frame at once, the effect on the floor was striking and genuinely fun to watch.
